Our Story

L&E Renovations LLC, DBA Lighting and Electrical, was founded May 1, 2021. We're a DFW general contractor headquartered in South Irving — owner-led, with a 7-person in-house team and a roster of trusted subcontractors covering everything from roofing to licensed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work.

The business started with a simple idea: be the contractor that picks up the phone. Most homeowners and investors we meet have a story about being ghosted by a builder. Ours doesn't end that way. We answer when you call — at 8 a.m. on a Tuesday or 10 p.m. on a Saturday — and we deliver on what we promise.

The work has grown from there. Today we run whole-home renovations, roofing, concrete, and additions across the metroplex, with about 90% residential and 10% commercial. Most projects land between $10K and $30K, with a handful of $50K–$100K additions and remodels each year — usually for repeat investor clients who know the drill.

Where We Work

Our base is South Irving, and our priority service area is DFW — Southlake, Colleyville, Plano, and Irving — but we travel for the right project. We've worked as far north as Missouri and as far south as Houston. If you've got a clear scope and you need a contractor who'll show up, distance is rarely the issue.

Certified to handle older homes safely — important on pre-1978 properties.

1-Year Project Warranty

Most projects carry a 1-year warranty. Concrete is excluded due to DFW soil, except new-build slabs and addition slabs, which are warrantied.

Service Minimum

$350 per service call — keeps us honest with our time and yours. We don't do pools, landscaping, or sprinklers.
